As far as I know there has been no change in this regard with 4.7.
I'm pretty sure it's possible but involves changing some references to the javascript files in the back end but guess you've looked through the old posts.
In Umbraco v.4.7 it does changes the login.aspx page, from /umbraco/login.aspx to /customName/login.aspx, but as we move on to the backend
all of the left and right content are lost (there's only those create, about, help and logout button). I think the issue is there within the most of the js files, css files ..
But as umbraco reference many of these js and css files. I am in doubt that even though I maintain to change all these, there will/can be case of bugs. Also most 3rd party packages won't function properly as they have relative path to /umbraco/ folder.
Change backend url from /umbraco/login.aspx to /custom/login.aspx
Hi to All,
I think this had been asked several times in this forum, but no solution worked out.
I hope there is a better way to do this in umbraco v4.7.
