    error when opening the package folder in the developer section

    I'm encoutering thsi error

    Hi,

    The package folder in the developer section is not opening. When I open the umbracoLogs it shows this error message.

    At /umbraco/webservices/TreeDataService.ashx?rnd=7ea3f79fb25245878f222d276cf4388f&id=-1&treeType=packager&contextMenu=true&isDialog=false&app=developer&rnd2=28.1 (Referred by: http://dev.florahospitality.com/umbraco/umbraco.aspx#developer): System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception (0x80004005):
    This application has failed
    to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem

     

    Any idea how to fix this?

    Sherry,

    I haven't seen this with umbraco specifically but have with c++ applications on server or desktop.  The error i believe usually occurs when the c++ redist package is not installed or the component is relying on a .net version that is not installed.

    Have you installed anything on your server lately?
