My serach box simply DOESN'T WORK. I don't know why, but I get no results for any searched phrase, neither on the auto complete box nor in the search popup.
I have tryed to use Simple Search for umbraco v4(I use umbraco 4.0.0.2), but I got some wrong results and I couldn't find some documents(I followed the instructions and changed the confiduration files)
Just to confirm, are you using Umbraco v4.0.x? (You say v4.0.0.2 - but I don't recall that release) ... anyway - is there any possibility that you could upgrade to the latest version (v4.7) ... or at least upgrade to v4.5?
Back-office search was quite buggy in v4.0 ... but since v4.5 there have significant improvements - since it is now powered with Examine.
Thanks for your reply, I'll check if it's possible to upgrade(I think there are some issues with the xslt files).
Anyway, I reindexed my nodes and it seemed better, but now the bug is back and I have to reindex again(about 4000 nodes). Is there a solution for this problem(other than reindexing)?
