    my search indexes seem to be "deleted" every few hours

    I use umbraco v4, and I just can't get the search in the admin ui to work. I reindex the nodes every few hours and it makes the search working for some hours, but then the indexes are "deleted" and I can only find some specific nodes, and some search phrases bring me strange results(for example: I search "festival" and I get results like "germany", "france" etc.).

    What can cause such a strange problem?
