I've had a look around the forums and can't seem to find any information on how I can allow users to Unpublish a page. It seems strange to me that they are allowed to delete a page, but not unpublish as options in the manage user section. I'm currently using "umbraco v
4.5.2 (Assembly version: 1.0.3891.20719)".
It seems that on the version I'm running, only Administrators have that ability. Anyone set as editor doesn't have that option in the proerties tab (sorry, should have made clear that it's editors I want to give this right to!).
Could be that this was always an Admin option/ I made an example for a context menu 2 years back (example 3). It works only on 4.0, but maybe you can tweak it so it works in 4.5+ also.
Unpublish for editors
Hi everyone,
I've had a look around the forums and can't seem to find any information on how I can allow users to Unpublish a page. It seems strange to me that they are allowed to delete a page, but not unpublish as options in the manage user section. I'm currently using "umbraco v 4.5.2 (Assembly version: 1.0.3891.20719)".
Thanks in advance for any help,
Tom
Hi Tom,
You can unpublish a page opening the document, click on properties tab and select unpublish.
Cheers,
Richard
Hi Richard,

Has this changed in a later version?
Thanks,
Tom
