I want to add a static folder inside the media section where i can place and update images via the windows explorer.
Umbraco normally generates an ID but i want to use windows to update all files inside a media folder. This folder should be named "icons" for examples. So if i want to update all icons i can just update it via the windows explorer on the server.
This icons must be available in the TinyMCE so i can not place it in the "images" folder

The insert image button in tinymce browses the media section of Umbraco.
Have you considered the Desktop Media Uploader package. makes it a bit more easy to upload a bunch of files/folders to the media section
