    Hi

    I've been asked to create a job vacancy website the the user performs a search on various criteria like 'job role', 'location', 'salary' etc.

    From this search you will go to a results page whereby all the jobs will be listed along with their description etc.

     

    Could anyone advise the best way to do this and where I can get some information from.

    Hi Lee,

    You could use Doug's XSLTSearch package which you can customise to search a custom set of fields or implement an Examine search.

    XSLTSearch would be quicker and easier to implement but Examine would be more efficient and flexible in the long run and especially if you are searching through a large amount of nodes.
