my editors want to be able to upload media-files(pdf, doc, zip, you name it) directly thrugh the RTE in umbraco. Today this works perfectly with images but not with other types of media. Is there a package for this or do I have to develop this my self?
The RTE only supports the creation of images. Just like the media picker only supports this (with advanced settings on). You could use DAMP, but it doesn't allow media to be inserted into the RTE.
