I am having trouble with managing host names for a website. It's worked before, but that case was different since subdomains were used instead of top-level domains. In any case, there are two websites example.com and ex.com. Umbraco 4.7.1 was installed on the former and I think the "manage host names" settings are correct. The settings <useDomainPrefixes> and <ensureUniqueNaming> are set to true. In IIS7, the sites are different applications, but the host headers are under example.com where the bindings for both it and ex.com are set. The problem is that when I navigate to a page under ex.com like "about us," i am redirected to example.com/about-us.aspx instead of ex.com/about-us.aspx. This is true whether or not the application for ex.com is stopped. I even removed ex.com site in IIS with the same result. I thought I had all my ducks in a row, but am definitely missing something. Anybody have any suggestion or advice? Thank you in advance!
Managing host names redirects to original domain
Hello

I ended up just installing a new instance on Umbraco on the second website. Thanks though!
