Quick Search / About, Help and Logout Buttons incorrectly displayed
Hi
I've got a couple of sites running 4.7.1 and I'm having an issue where the quick search and the three buttons for About, Help, and Logout are positioned incorrectly within the CMS UI (see the screenshot below - search seems to wrap beneath the Create button and the buttons for About, Help etc have been 'pushed' down below the right hand panel). Doesn't seem to be a browser issue.
There appears to be an asp:panel responsible for rendering the quick search. In 4.7.1 this renders the search form within a table layout (previous versions seem to render the content in divs) ... this seems to be affecting the presentation of these page elements.
Sometimes it can be some temporary files in the clientdependency folder that plays a trick on the backoffice appearance and I can guarantee you that the backoffice is looking fine in Firefox 8.
So I think you should try go to the App_Data/TEMP/ folder and delete the "ClientDependency folder, and possible also recycle the app pool and then try to log in to the back office once again.

Anyone else experienced this and is there a fix?
Thanks Toby
Hi Toby and welcome to the forum :)

Does this help?

Hi Jan
Thanks for the response. I tried your suggestion but unfortunately I'm still having the issue.
Thanks Toby
Hi Toby
Hmm ok, how about the app pool...what does the settings for it look like? Is it running integrated mode?
