    How to use Canvas?

     

    Hello All,

    I am using umbraco v 4.0.1 (Assembly version: 1.0.3373.718) of umbraco. i am happy using umbraco.

    i want to enable inline editing using canvas, how can i do that?

    when i right click on any node and click on edit at that time i go the following message.

    Umbraco Canvas requires an ASP.Net form to function properly. Live editing has been turned off.

    please help me in solving this.

    Hi Jigar,
    You need to add a form tag around the entire page. Which if you have any child nested form tags it will break.

    Add the form tag with runat="server"

    <form runat="server">
    <div>Your entire page XHTML</div>
    </form>
