Is there a way to search all web site source code for a string in the Umbraco UI? I am a new user, and it seems that the search box at the top left only looks at the names of the source code files, not their contents. For example, there was a hyperlink in multiple places in my website with a typo. I wanted to be able to search for the incorrectly spelled hyperlink.
You're thinking about searching through content in the Umbraco backoffice, right? That has nothing to do with the source code of Umbraco just to be clear on that :)
It seems that the search function is only looking at the name of the pages and nothing further. So I don't think that there is an easy way to find all the links I'm afraid.
I suspect that it's possible to change this search behaviour by playing around with Examine index settings (~/config/ExamineIndex.config), but I'm completely unsure about it - just my speculations.
