Recently a customer wanted to insert a image with a width larger than 500 pixels in a RTE. The RTE then proceeded to shrink down the image to a default width of 500 pixels. Is there a way to turn this off? Is there a way to change the preset width to something else?

Hi Pierre,
If you go to the developer-section, then Datatypes and then Rich text, you can specify the maximum width of the images in the RTE.
You can also change the default width and height of the RTE itself when editing a page.
