I have an Umbraco 4.0.2.1 site where i use the char limit datatype for serveral of the properties on a number of differeb´nt pages (document types)

Now a strange thing has happened.

Data edited with one instance of the char limit control is not showing up in neither preview nor the published page. The old "unedited" data is shown. Data edited with other instances of the char limit control is ok. It has worked perfectly until some time ago.

I "followed the data" in the DB, and the edited data is saved correct in the propertyData table, it is also correct in the cmsContentXml table. Then i checked the Umbraco.config XML file which as i understand it contains the published content, here the edited content is also correct. The version Guid is also correct, and consistent with the Guid for the latest version in the DB.

How can it be that my edited content is not showing up when i browse / preview the page ?

Can it be some kind of caching problem ?
