I manage an Umbraco installation at a university. I wanted to provide guidance for our programmer. We have role-based protection set up on the site. It works fine in general. However, when a user protects only a child page on the site (vs. the entire site), the following occurs:

1. User clicks on protected page

1. User enters the login and password
2. Page is unprotected, but user is taken back to the home page and must renavigate to the protected page.

Questions

1. Is that the expected behavior
2. Is there a programming option that would open the page of interest rather than returning the user to the home page after login authentication.
