How can I create a simple report that recursively records my content tree? That is, all leafs of my content tree? TIA!

Try having a look at the developer section where you can create a XSLT macro based on the predefined Sitemap macro available from the dropdown. I think this is what you are looking for. Please note that you can change the levels it should use.
