I'm using umbraco to feed a xml to a flash. In some nodes I have a html box. For some reason, when I edit the content, in IE the html it's correct:

And this is the same content in Firefox:

The first problem is the extra space after the <br /> tags. The flash when interpreting this content, add's a space in the line that shouldn't be there.
The second problem is that in the xslt I'm using the umbraco.library:RemoveFirstParagraphTag to get remove the <p> tags. This method also replace \n by an empty string, so far so good, but by some reason that iludes me, the content save to the Database, is going with \n, and calling the method, i get some content with the words togheter when they should have been separated.
I Searched in the tinyMCE forum, in this forum, in the old forum of umbraco, Google... and no luck
Indeed this situation can be a mess. Would eventually be able to clear white space either somehow server side or in the flash that receives your xml?
Otherwise I might suggest you change your property to at simple text box instead since your mentioned question can be hell. I know the solution might not be ideal dependent on who updates the content etc. - But if it is you who are updating the content I think it's the best quick and a bit dirty solution to your problem.
Unfortunately the updates are done by the client, so it was to be a html box. I didn't want to change the code of umbraco... but i'm trying to find the method that saves the content to see if I can do a workaound.

Any more tips?
There is a problem with the "umbraco.library:RemoveFirstParagraphTag()" function. It seems to be deleting random spaces between words.
