To Provent /Umbraco from Public Access

I am not sure if I have posted the question in the correct forum.

Once the Umbraco is installed the backoffce (/Umbraco folder) is part of whole solution, anybody who can access the content will have the access the backoffice as well.

Anbody has some suggestion that if I don't want external users to access backoffice what is the choices I can have?
