    Reviving documents

I just got a call from a customer, who has an umbraco 3.0.6-installation. During creation of new pages, she says that umbraco froze up and removed a child folder and child-child documents. Are there any way to revive the pages? I'm a bit hesitant to just republishing the entire page, as it could make reviving even more difficult, or?

Save the /data/umbraco.config... the old data might still be in there and you can re-import it in the worst case.

I'm guessing there's nothing in the recycle bin, eh?

Any backups that would have had the old content? Again, could be used a source for re-importing the old content.

    cheers,
    doug.

    Hi Doug,

Thanks for your reply :)  No nothing in the bin (first place I checked ;-)) and nothing in umbraco.config, it seems .. I think I'll ask her webhost if they can do a restore.
