I wonder if you can help me. I want to have a user that is set up as a writer. They should be able to add/edit content and save the changes, but I don't want them to have permission to either 'Send to Publish' or 'Publish'...I just want them to be able to save so that someone else can check their work and then that person can 'Send to Publish' if ok.
I set up the user with a usertype that has the 'send to publish' and 'publish' boxes unchecked, but when I go into the editor signed in as that user, I still get the 'Send to Publish' button visible. I have checked the user's individual permissions using the 'User Permissions' section and those are also set to unchecked.
Does anyone have any ideas? I'm not sure why the user still has 'send to publish' permissions even though I've said they shouldn't be able to do that. I'm running 4.8 if that makes any difference.
