I loaded up the starter kit (CWS) and noticed that document type images show as NAME (deprecated). This happens when you upload your own images to \Umbraco\Images\Thumbnails. How do you add images properly so that "deprecated" is not shown? and can you package up the images and the config.
Come to think of it, I think you need to add the image references something in the config as well... but still, the deprecated message shows on the starter kit so I guess it will show for any images I add as well. Any ideas?
Sorry, my mistake - images and thumbnails copied work fine but it still puzzles me about this "deprecated" thing. Is there now a new/better way to get custom images added?
I just tink that the images, which are shown as deprecated are the ones used in the old Umbraco versions before v4 was released. As you may know the interface got a make-over for this release. But I think the images are kept in there because some people might prefer to use the old ones instead of the new ones. By adding "Deprecated" people can distinguise between old and new images. But maybe that name is a bit misleading? I don't know.
So I think that is the simple explanation to it :-)
