Hi, i have a question. But if i have 300 news in a site, how are they managed (thinking as children of a "news archive" node)? It results a very long tree!? :)
- Use a package like DateFolders to organize the news articles into folders by year/month.
- Use a package like FALM Tabular Folder Browser as a "Dashboard" on your "news archive" node, to help you find child content easier. (You still have the long tree, but this helps with finding specific nodes)
However, in v4.11 of Umbraco we should have "Container Document Types" which will greatly help in this area.

Hi,
Right now, some options are:
- Use a package like DateFolders to organize the news articles into folders by year/month.
- Use a package like FALM Tabular Folder Browser as a "Dashboard" on your "news archive" node, to help you find child content easier. (You still have the long tree, but this helps with finding specific nodes)
However, in v4.11 of Umbraco we should have "Container Document Types" which will greatly help in this area.
Hope this helps,
Tom
