    Umbraco External Redirect and Google Analytics

    Does anyone know if pages that have an Umbraco External Redirect are still picked up in Google Analytics? Or does the redirect occur before a page view can be recorded? I am looking to see if I can use this as a method to track links to external web sites in our email newsletters, etc.

    External redirects are not picked in Google Analytics because the page is never displayed to the client.
