I would like to know if others experience bad performance in the code editor when using chrome on mac?
I experience the following:
- cmd+s does'nt save. Need to use crtl+s
- copy paste (cmd+c / cmd+v) works 50% of the time.
- when copy/paste stops working so does ctrl+s, so it seems like it kills keyboard shortcuts.
I've lost quite a bit of work on account of these "bugs". It seems to be a problem with the new editor, since i've experienced it on both 4.9.1 and 4.10.1...
Anyone else experience this? What can we do about it (other than use external editors)?

Found another symptom.
When inserting an umbraco:item via the icon in the editor the keyboard is killed completely...
Cant type anything. Has to save via mouse click on icon, and then reload the editor?
Can anyone reproduce these symptoms?
Is it just Chrome or does Safari/Firefix do it as well?
I juste tested the "umbraco:item" symptom. It the same problem in safari, but not in firefox... A webkit issue maybe?
Maybe, have a look at this:

May help.
Ehhhhhh, Whats the link for???
I dont think its a browser problem.
I think its the code editor that is the problem... The editor before 4.9-4.10 versions of umbraco works just fine...
did you get anwhere with this? its almost tempting me to go back to IE
Nope, and IE is not an option for me :(
Chrome sucks for me under Parallels, freezes alot, thought it was just me.
Im not talking parallels, im talking native osx chrome. Just to keep it clear
is working on a reply...
