    Does macro caching use asp.net output caching?

    When a macro is configured to be cached, is asp.net output caching being used to cache the generated html?

    I am trying to use the performance monitor to see the number of cache entries ( counter: output cache entries ) but am not getting any results. I do have the macro configured to be cached, and can see that it is working from the trace.
