The ASP.NET login control has some attributes you can use to adjust certain things, for exampke LoginButtonText="Login" or UserNameLabelText="Your Username" etc. See the full list here
Also, I've found that depending on your needs, it can be very difficult to get the Login control styled exactly how you like. There's plenty of articles on google about this if you're having trouble, but an alternative is to use the RazorLogin package, which gives you full control over the markup.
Edit standard asp:login control
Hi,
I am using the standard login control on my site to allow users to access protected pages.
I need to edit the label text and the styles of the control
Can anyone tell me where I can access the control or do I need to add some kind of view control to edit it?
Thanks!
Or do I need to edit in VS and convert to a template?
Ah i've sorted it by adding attributes to the control :)
