Our marketing people just asked me how they are able to find out which media items are referenced from which site. For example if they want to delete a pdf document they want te ensure that the item is not referenced before deleting it.
Is there a way how they can check if it is used by any content page?
I can search for the ID within the umbraco.config file but this is not a solution for the marketing as they are just using the umbraco backend.
Check for unused/used media items
Hello,

Any suggestions?
Thanks
dominik,
There was a package done by the farm but it only works on older versions of umbraco http://our.umbraco.org/projects/backoffice-extensions/thefarm-media-link-checker ideally we need the source and it needs updating so that it works in later umbraco versions.

Ismail
