    Deleting Recycle Bin Items

    hi,

I am running 4.9.0 and everyting I try to delete an item from the recycle bin I recieve the error (in firebug):

POST http://www.londonlaunch.com/umbraco/webservices/legacyajaxcalls.asmx/DeleteContentPermanently 500 (Internal Server Error)

All the file permissions are there :S

Little help? maybe a DB issue?

    Thanks

    S

    Hi SinkyPars

It's unfortunately a known bug with Umbraco 4.9. There also is a nasty bug using the "Rollback" option in the context menu.

Therefore I encourage you to upgrade to the latest version - actually 4.11.4 from the nightlies here http://nightly.umbraco.org/umbraco%204.11.4/ build 57 is the latest - I should not be that long before 4.11.4 is released in stable.

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan

    Thanks Jan,

Is it a simple update or should I update to all previsous versions before 4.11.4 also?

    Many thanks

I suppose you could go straight to 4.11.4 since there is no changes in the database in the versions up till this one.

However I would probably go step by step as described in the documentation here: http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/Upgrading/ - Also read the general instructions here http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/Upgrading/general

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan
