    Need some help with '301 url tracker' - full url or everything after the slash??

    Hi okay so need a bit of advice. Basically I am moving my current site over to a development site before going live and have set the 301's up but not sure if they are in the correct format.

    Is it necessary for each node I create to put the full url (from the live site) to be redirected to my development site?in other words for one of my pages would it be /somepage/ or do I need http://www.somesite.com/somepage set as my custom mapping?

    At the moment I have just put everything after the slash because my homepage has the full url.

    Does anyone know if this is the correct format?
