    publishing multilanguage site

    hi

i'm new in creating umbraco sites, so as expected, have problems :)

i created multilanguage site by watching tutorials ... so my site has two home nodes, home1 (english) and home2 (croatian). as seen in video i have to manage hostnames, which i did. say, for home1, hostname is enghome (http://enghome/), and for home2 is crohome (http://crohome/). after republishing entire site i can't run site in my browser. before managing hostnames i was using only home1 which had the following link: http://localhost:58466

also tried http://enghome:58466, but no success.

so, i would like if anyone could tell me what to do to run this site and how to publish it locally on iis.

    thanks in advance!

Hi Pacoss and welcome to our :)

I suppose you're using IIS express and I must admit I can't remember how it is you manage hostnames (if at all) in this version.

I suggest you start IIS7 and create a new website that you map to your Umbraco root folder - then you can add the bindings for the site and you should be able to access both your sites.

See the "Using IIS" section in the documentation here: http://our.umbraco.org/documentation/Installation/install-umbraco-manually

    Hope this helps.

    /Jan
