HI for some reason im getting an issue where i cannot delete nodes within a site, each time i use the delete option get the errors pictured below, im not really sure what the cause is, as far as im aware the permissions are set correctly in my Plesk based hosting, and when i try to delete the node for the second time it works.
uGoLive is saying the same on both install which is;
"Access to the path 'C:\inetpub\vhosts\......\httpdocs\web.config.tmp' is denied."
I know i can remove content by pressing delete the second time but would rather not have to do this, any suggestions appreicated, Thanks in advance
running version 4.11.1, its built from a previous install, have set the permissions correctly and have also deleted the umbraco.config file from the AppData folder then republished the entire site and its still the same, the previous install it was based on works fine and all nodes delete first time
Cannot delete node first time

Hywel
what version are you runing,
is this a new install?
What about permissions?
running version 4.11.1, its built from a previous install, have set the permissions correctly and have also deleted the umbraco.config file from the AppData folder then republished the entire site and its still the same, the previous install it was based on works fine and all nodes delete first time
Cheers
Have you checked the index settings are in the config directory?
Check the condtents of ExamineIndex.config, ExamineSettings?
They might be zero length files? If this is just a copy of the site, try deleting and copying again.
Craig
Deleted the ExamingIndex.config and republished the site and its worked perfectly now :)
thanks very much Craig
