Did you try bumping the number? I can't remember exactly how to do this, but I think all the caching would need to be 'redone' on the production machine in the first instance, as the site would be expecting the cached data to already be there.
Does it work if you run the production machine in debug mode? In debug mode CD doesn't compress so it should work normal. If it doesn't that's probably where the problem is.
issue with Client Depency Framework

I just implemented the Client Depency Framework in the master template of my website.
It works fine on my development machine, but for some reason some styles are not rendered on my production machine.
Does someone has an idea what could be going on?
