Are these supported in the media section 4.11.04 ?I uploaded a couple but they don't appear as new nodes in media.

It's a matter of the webserver recognizing the mime type of the files.
To make sure the webserver understand these file types you should add this in the web.config. You can see how it's done in this blogpost http://www.localwisdom.com/blog/2011/10/iis-7-web-config-change-for-html5-and-css3-mime-types/

Ogg and Webm Media file types
Are these supported in the media section 4.11.04 ?
