Our setup has 6 umbraco servers distributed across a WAN. In umbracosettings.config we have the section populated with the names of all the servers - this works well and publishing pages updates all the servers in the environment.
Recently we tried to do a full site republish (130+ pages) and hit the ASP.NET timeout of 240 seconds. We can obviously increase this to allow the republish to complete, but is it expected that a full site republish to 6 servers (some across a WAN) takes 4-5 seconds per page to complete?
[The database is hosted in a high availability environment. Some of the servers will access via their local LAN, whilst some will be accessing over the WAN].
Slow publish times
