Still quite new to Umbraco, but how do I create a registration form in Umbraco? Which menu do I use?
I've noticed a form already existing in our backend that has an icon of a page with a cog on the bottom right corner - does this denote a form? I can't really find a good guide to all the various icons in Umbraco and what they mean.
For creating dynamic forms it's best to use contour a paid add-on but very flexible. What is the icon you see that you thought was the form icon? You are right that it's not easy to find. There is a good book about Umbraco http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/productCd-0470560827.html code examples are outdated but the concepts are still in there.
Thanks, I've looked into Contour and it might be the go, although I'd like to try putting together something in .NET first. However, the icon I was referring to is a User Control page.
