Archive umbraco site / remove all umbraco site content
Hi
Is there a facility or published paid for tool for removing (without deleting) all site content from Umbraco?
I have multiple sites installed on a single instance of Umbraco, one of which [site] has been superseded by a newer version.
I want to be able to archive the sql database records, and any file system content so that the site no longer appears as a node in the back office tree view.
Google has hasn't turned up anything and I am loathe to do this manually (and unguided)
I've not seen anything without deleting everything. If you want to remove the site nodes but keep everything just in case, you could un-publish the entire site, and then just add an event listener to the content tree to hide the node. That way it's still there, it's just hidden away. You could even set it so that the node is visible to the root admin user, but not anyone else if you wanted to.
