4.7 install - Content node not showing any properties in backend
Hi,
I've a site running Umbraco 4.7.2. I haven't done anything to it recently but all of a sudden any node's of a particular doctype will not display correctly. When I navigate to the node all I'm seeing are the tabs and none of the properties.
Here's how I've attempted to resolve:
Deleted the umbraco cache file
Republished the site
Saved the doctype again that is causing the issue.
Needless to say none of the above has worked. Has anybody seen this before or have any suggestions how to fix? Screenshot attached.
Your problem seems to be fixed by touching the web.config file. So try to make a change to the web.config file. and then tried to refresh the site. You could also try rename the web.config, then refresh the site.after you have noticed the site will break, then change the name back to the web.config. Then I think your site should be up and running with propperties on the documenttypes.
I managed to fix this Dennis. It was one of the data type properties on the doctype had become corrupted (possibly through upgrades at some stage but only being noticed now.) The culprit was Media Picker with Preview. I just changed this to the standard Media Picker and that resolved my issue.

Thanks guys,

any takers for this? I should also mention that any new nodes created from this doctype have the same problem.
Cheers.

Thanks Dennis,
I tried as you suggested but no joy. It is only one of my doctypes that does this. Content nodes of other doctypes are fine. :/
