    TidyEditorContent has no effect

TidyEditorContent has no effect for my umbraco installation. I set it to "False

<!-- clean editor content with use of tidy -->
    <TidyEditorContent>False</TidyEditorContent>

but it seems that TinyMCE still tidies the content :(

How can I disable the TinyMCE tidy function?

This is still a problem. In 4.7.1 I cannot disable the tidy function (which should not exist IMO) using the two config files / app restart details discussed throughout these forums.

Has anyone successfully disabled the tidy in 4.7.1?

I also can't disable Tidy. I've tried restarting the app pool, clearing the browser cache, nothing works. Any ideas?

Experiencing the same issue in 4.5.2, and with the 4.7.1 tinymce, can't disable tidy at all...

in my case the issue wasn't caused by tinymce or tidy, but by a custom dll called tinymceoverride.dll
