    Moving site to new domain

    I have a site where we are moving it to a new domain name. It's hosted with the same provider and the two root folders (domains) are in the same ftp area. It's a 4.11 site.

    Will the site be ok simply moving the files to the new domain folder? I take it I also need to set the 301 redirect in a config file?

    Hi Pete,

    You have to change mapping domains in umbraco Admin panel, on each your root nodes you have to change domains in 'manage hostnames' menu.
