Can a user change his own password in v.7.0.4?

In version 6, there was a dashboard panel in the content section where a user could change his own password. I cannot find this in version 7. Is there any way for a non-admin user (without access to the Users section) to change his own password?

Apologies if I am missing something obvious...

in the latest version of 7...

Click the umbraco logo top left... then click the Edit button under the title "Your Profile", change Password in the middle there??

The only button that shows there for a user that does not have access to the Users section is the log-out button.

...Do you see something else for a user assigned as an Editor with access to only Content and Media?

This was a fresh install of Umbraco 7.0.1, then upgraded to 7.0.4. I did clear my browser cache, try a different browser, and emptied my App_Data/TEMP folder and restart the app pool just in case...

We're having the exact same problem. Is there a solution to this? We don't want users to be able to access other user accounts, but we want them to be able to update their own password.

    Hi Tom,

If you are using Umbraco 7.0.4, then you need to upgrade your Umbraco installation to at least Umbraco 7.1.0 to get the users the possibility to change their own password without having access to the users section.

    See this issue http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-3648

If you are going for upgrade your installation, then please see this documentation too.

    https://our.umbraco.org/documentation/getting-started/setup/upgrading/general

    Hope this helps,

    /Dennis
