    Unable to copy website in the content tree

    For some reason, I am unable to make a copy of the website in the content tree. This is a strange one as I am following a guide very carefully. However, for me I get an error message.

     

    The steps of the guide are:

    1. Go to Content section of website

    2. Right click Homepage and select copy

    3. Select the upper most Content node in the tree view (Fig in my diagram shows Content highlighted)

    4. Click OK

    5. Refresh node to see new Homepage node awaiting to be published.

    Any ideas as to why I am unable to progress furthure.

    Hi Aly,

    You need to give access to the document type can be created at the root node.

    1. Go to the settings section click on the Document Types folder and find the document type for the frontpage.

    2. Set the tick in allow at root, after that you should be able to take a copy of your website.
