Does somebody know if there is a solution for the following problem:
when resizing images in the wysiwyg editor (umb 4.0.2.1) it will maintain the aspect ratio by default, which is what I expect it to do. But I discovered that this behaviour is limited to Firefox. In Internet Explorer its very easy to destroy the aspect ratio.
Is there any way to fix this bad behaviour, other than convincing the system operator of my customer to update all its computers with FF :-)
I knew that little IE bug - but it’s not as bad as you might think.
It is correct that the user is able to stretch the image out of aspect ratio, but on Save and publish the image does get the correct aspect ratio. Just tested with IE8 but I am aware of the same behavior for IE6 and IE7.
Resize images in RTE with IE... no aspect ratio?

Hi finn, you are right; thanks. I simply did not publish the document. Solved :-)
This is still a bug and needs to be corrected. It's a huge show stopper.
is working on a reply...
