A client has been trying to update and or save pdfs and images in the media section. When click on the save button there is no error message and the image details (file type and size) are not created or updated. I've tested on the staging site and so has the client so I know that everything on the staging is working correcly and also that it's not a user error.
The above issue only happens on their production site which I have no access to. I've asked them to double check the permissions which they state are okay. Can anyone think of anything else that it might be or that I could ask them to try?
It might be worthwhile asking them for a copy of the site's log files or log table depending on which version you are running. Obtaining them might help you debug the issue.

Eddie i have had the same thing recently. Have you tried saving the PDF in another part of the media tree? Did that work?
