    Hi Ysee

If I understand your question (!), you can change the width of the rich text editor in the "Developer" section under "datatypes".  Just find the rich text editor in this tree and adjust the width as set there.

    Yeah, just like Dan said.

    1. Go to the Developer-section in Umbraco
    2. Open the "Data-type"-folder
    3. Click the Richtex Editor
    4. In here you can specify the width and height of the editor.

    Hope this helps...

Right now the images that i put in my richtext editor cant be bigger than 500 px width. I need them to be 820px wide and 220px high . But if i put bigger images in i get a image missing red cros. How can I change that ?

    Hi Nina.

If understand you the right way, you want to be able to insert images bigger than 500px, and you can't do this right now. In the Developer section under data types, find the Richtext editor and select it. Somewhere on the dashboard, there should be an option called something lige "Max image size" or "Max image width" or something like this. In here you should be able to just increase the number from 500px to 820px.

    Hope this helps.

Hi IORH and welcome to our :)

What version of Umbraco are you using?

What are the dimensions of the image you're trying to insert? And what is the dimension set to automatically when you select the image? Could you perhaps post a screendump so we can see the issue perhaps?

    /Jan

    i using Umbraco 6.0,the image is 750*50

When I enter the "<img src="abc.jpg width=749 height=499>" to the richeditor, it is ok.

    Input<img src="abc.jpg width=750 height=500>, it is not good.

I am a Chinese, English is not very good, please forgive me, thank you

    Hi IORH

I'll recommend that you try updating V6 to the stable release of V6 once it's getting released to see if that fixes the issue.

Otherwise I'll urge you to report the issue on the issue tracker here so it can get fixed ASAP. http://issues.umbraco.org/issues/U4 This should really just be working.

Regarding the english it makes sense what you're writing, so no worries about that :)
