    can't perform delete

    Hi

I am running Umbraco v6.2.4 (Assembly version: 1.0.5394.15649) and trying to delete a node. When I right click, it asks for confirmation, but then just throws the message [Error handling action, there was an error processing the request]

    Could someone please help?

    Thanks

    Hi Lee,

Can you look at Umbraco log ? Do you have deleting permissions ?

    Thanks

When I delete the enty into the log is:

    2014-12-30 12:28:38,555 [10] INFO  Umbraco.Core.Publishing.PublishingStrategy - [Thread 34] Content 'lee' with Id '4063' has been unpublished.

So it seems rather than deleting Umbraco is unplublishing

Umbraco can delete and can unpublish node. It's different actions.

When I'm trying to delete node I have the same log item :

Umbraco.Core.Publishing.PublishingStrategy - [Thread 56] Content 'test ' with Id '12055' has been unpublished.

    Lee, Was deleting successful ?

No... I'm getting a more detailed error now:

    Error handling action

Exception of type 'System.OutOfMemoryException' was thrown.

So it's the problem, something with memory.
