From Rich Text Editor I highlighted the text I need add link to and clicked "Insert/edit link" button. After typing in URL, Title and clicking "Insert", the "insert/edit link" dialog box still opened and there was nothing happening to the text. Our company use Umbraco 4.7.1 and didn't have such problem before.
I can see there have been a issue with insert link function in the Rich Text Editor. Try to see this issue http://issues.umbraco.org/issue/U4-4630 And there is also one that have this issue on Umbraco 4.7.1 if you see the comments on the issue.
Are you are using Internet Explorer, if you do, have you tried using another browser like Firefox or Chrome to see if it´s a problem in these browsers too.
