Hi
Does Umbraco provide search engine friendly URLs 'out of the box' or do you have to configure it, use a special package or is it not achievable?
Thanks
Hi,
It produces clean URLs by default you'll be pleased to hear. By default the URLs produced end with .aspx, but you can make extensionless URLs with a simple config setting:
<add key="umbracoUseDirectoryUrls" value="true" />
Hope this helps.
also, don't forget you can over-ride the niceUrl with umbracoUrlName -- http://our.umbraco.org/wiki/reference/umbraco-best-practices/umbracourlname
is working on a reply...
