    Mini email system

I am looking at incorporating an emailer into an Umbraco site. Sending is easy - but how to deal with replies? I would like to store all sent and recieved emails in nodes.

The site is for a swimming club which has a number of squads. Each squad has a rep that sends out emails that relate to that squad. The problem is that swimmers can move squads quite frequently which makes keeping your own list of email addresses problematic.

The solution is to provide a squad reps area on the website which lists squad member emails directly from the membership database. Emails can fairly easily be sent via a form in the squad reps area ... but how can I deal with replies?

The reason for wanting to capture sent and recieved emails is it makes it easier for a new squad rep to see what has been sent, etc. An obvious alternative is to use a web based email account (which I can supply) and store all emails there. That makes using the realtime squad members email list difficult.

Any comments, suggestions, etc would be most welcome.
