    "Save and Send for Approval" for new Content. Who gets Notification?

    Hi,

    I am familiar with the notion of right click - notifications and checking the "Save and Send for approval" to get the email when this action has been performed on a content node.

    My question is if a writer is logged in and creates a new content node, adds the content and then clicks on "Save and Send for approval", who gets the email/notification in this case?

    Haven't you answered your own question?

    eg notifications of the event will be sent to any user who has registered for "Save and Send for approval" notifications on the node in question or any ancestor node of the node in question.

    I was aware that you can right click on an existing content node for notifications but I was referring to new content created and "sent for approval".

    I wasn't aware that notifications apply for ancestors, that's what I was wanted.
