Paste HTML into a plain text field?

Before I start to experiment and check the results I wanted to ask if anyone else has done something like this before.

We have a third party tool that generates a single HTML file that has a very large formatted form. I am wondering if I can take the HTML and copy it into an Umbraco page text field. I want Umbraco to provide some control of this content rather than just allowing staff to dump files into a folder.

Will the HTML render properly or will key portions be stripped out?

(Note: These are Answer Path files.)

I haven't personally tried, so wait for someone who has to answer - but if you want to experiment - my guess is that it will work fine and won't strip anything.

(Why not paste it into a Rich Text Editor though?)
